Design Methodology

Workstar's design methodology, Multimedia Pathways, is recognised as world-class best practice in eLearning development. The methodology is an innovative blend of existing and emerging disciplines.

Multimedia Pathways provides a framework for the development of training resources. Using this framework assists multimedia developers to extend their capabilities and enhance courses for online delivery. It can also be used to assist those who are outsourcing multimedia product development.

Multimedia Pathways is aligned with ISO 9001 and ISO 12 207. This means that multimedia development organisations pursuing ISO accreditation can do so based on Multimedia Pathways. Workstar has mapped the methodology to these ISO standards. The methodology provides a benchmark for quality and efficiency improvement in the specification, design, production, evaluation and implementation of interactive training. Multimedia Pathways is also compatible with AICC and SCORM standards.
