Chief Executive OfficerMike Erlin joined the Workstar team as CEO in August 2008. Mike brought to Workstar his commitment & experience of building high-performance teams that deliver client business results through differentiated solutions.
Mike's 20 years of experience have included his leadership of and membership in world-class teams in yachting and business. While he began his career at Xerox in Business Equipment, he moved into the healthcare sector taking ownership for sales in a series of start-ups. In late 1996 one of those start-ups, QuadraMed, successfully listed on NASDAQ.
Beginning in 2000, Mike began and continues eight years in the Training and Education sector. During this period, he has lead Account Management, Sales & Client Services teams in an executive capacity at DigitalThink - now Convergys Learning Services, and served as Blackboard's Regional Vice President with responsibility for Australia, New Zealand & Asia, excluding China and Japan.
Mike was introduced to Australia in 1986 when he lived in Fremantle, Australia as a member of the San Francisco team USA who challenged Australia to return the America's Cup to the United States. Upon return to America, Mike met his Australian wife and after residing in the US for 17 years, returned to Australia with their two children in 2005.
