Head of Training Solutions and Commercial DevelopmentCarl Gunther heads the Workstar Training Solutions and Commercial Development teams. He joined Workstar as Commercial Manager in 2004 and was promoted to various roles until July 2008 when he was appointed to his current role. Carl is a "hands on" operator and takes an intimate role in strategy formulation and execution.
Carl brings to Workstar numerous years of experience in business development, finance, M&A, venture capital and technology procurement. Prior to joining Workstar, Carl held the position of Chief Financial Officer for NetMap Analytics LLC, managing both the Australian and US operations. In June 2003, Carl was appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer for NetMap Analytics Australia, where he was responsible for the day to day management of the business and raising capital for expansion and development opportunities in the US and Australia.
Previously, Carl held senior roles with Chartered Accounting firm Pricewaterhouse Coopers, BT Funds Management as a member of their technology business team and Meridian Pacific Capital Ltd as member of their Venture Capital team.
