TodayCorp launches new Workstar brand
Award winning online learning, communication, recruitment, training and development solutions company TodayCorp, will on 8th February, 2007 launch an integrated and innovative new brand called Workstar.
Resulting from an extensive acquisition drive and the desire to consolidate its client offerings, Workstar will represent the merger of TodayCorp’s online learning operations (including its award winning software platform ‘Versity’), along with the TodayCorp brand ‘Impart’ and its Registered Training Organisations; ‘Integrated Training’ and ‘Small Business Training Company’ (SBTC).
Offering a full service solution set, Workstar will provide superior integrated online learning solutions, accredited training, consulting services and custom content solutions - these are currently operating under TodayCorp and its subsidiary brands.
TodayCorp’s CEO, Joe Ward announced that "It is a very exciting time for us, our clients and stakeholders. The launch of Workstar signifies the ongoing development and growth of TodayCorp as a company whilst allowing us to provide additional and extensive services for our clients".
The new Executive General Manager of Workstar, Greg Hall, will be continuing the company’s groundbreaking march towards creating even more efficient and effective solutions for companies looking to significantly grow and strengthen their brands through cutting edge learning and development.
Workstar will bring together the best workplace trainers with state-of-the-art learning resources and technology. Workstar shares the Government and industry’s goals in addressing skills shortages, improving student retention rates and providing support for local, regional and rural businesses and their communities.
Unlike most vocational training organisations, Workstar can provide face-to-face, online, blended and on-demand methods of training, for maximum reach as well as exceptional flexibility in the delivery of courses for higher retention rates.
Workstar has commenced investing considerable funds into moving many paper-based courses to an online format over the next two years, thus further expanding its delivery pathway capabilities.
With offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Newcastle, Hobart and Launceston, Workstar will have an Asia-Pacific focus whilst catering to the needs of all companies across a wide range of vertical industries including retail, building and construction, financial and professional services, Government and education, healthcare, leisure, tourism and hospitality, manufacturing and automotive, mining and telecommunications and utilities. Workstar will provide total learning and development solutions to people and businesses of all sizes.
TodayCorp’s existing clients, who will now also fall under the Workstar banner, include McDonald’s, Rebel Sport, Repco, AKI, Thrifty, The Nuance Group, Pfizer and Schering-Plough, as well as Vodafone, Rio Tinto and the Australian Defence Force.
In March TodayCorp will host a formal event to introduce the Workstar brand to key stakeholders and members of the media. Details will be supplied shortly.
