TodayCorp to judge global Excellence in Learning Awards

( SYDNEY, Australia - 29th June 2006) - TodayCorp's Garry Hargreaves, Business Development Manager for TodayCorp Brisbane, has been announced as an independent judge for the Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards. The awards showcase and recognize the best in innovative workplace learning, with the winners announced at a ceremony on October 24, 2006 at Training Solutions 2006 in Denver, Colorado.

To be selected as a Brandon Hall judge, Garry demonstrated ten years experience in the teaching and commercial development of Custom Built Content. Garry also has a solid understanding of the underpinning educational approaches in Instructional Design and online learning objectives, technical capabilities and limitations of business-related online learning environments.

Hargreaves commented, "Entries have been of a high calibre. The Custom Content category is certainly hotly contested with quality entries offering differing levels of interactivity. All submissions have widespread appeal from a content perspective and use an engaging variety of workplace learning metaphors and interesting instructional design approaches."

The awards, now in their twelfth year are the first recognition program dedicated entirely to the e-learning industry. This years Brandon Hall Excellence Awards categories are:

  • Custom Content
  • Learning Case Studies
  • Learning Technology
  • Live Online Learning

Judges will use seven broad criteria to comment and rank the entries with all entrants receiving the judges' written comments as feedback. Judging will be completed by the end of June.
