ColdFusion Developers
Trainers/Assessors
ColdFusion Developers
Workstar are currently looking for ColdFusion Developers to join their North Sydney and Brisbane based teams. The role's purpose is to provide capability for the development and deployment of Workstar's eRecruitment and eLearning solutions. This will include customising existing code functionality, coding new functionality requirements, working with databases and creating relevant documentation. You will also be required to assist with internal and external client technical support. Due to multiple projects running simultaneously you will be required to work on concurrent projects.
Required Skills and Previous Experience
- Tertiary education, preferably a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
- One to two years professional experience in web development in ColdFusion.
- A good working knowledge of SQL (specifically SQL Server) and related database concepts.
- Experience working with IIS and Microsoft server products.
- A solid understanding of concepts such as session, state, http, web services etc.
- A solid understanding of component-based development.
- Used to working in a team environment and experience with the complete SDLC.
- .NET experience an advantage.

Trainers/Assessors
Workstar currently have vacancies for Trainers / Assessors who have experience in the delivery of vocational training in the following industry sectors:
Retail, Business, Food Processing, Engineering, Process Manufacturing, Wholesale Operations, Warehousing, Competitive Manufacturing, Hospitality.
Specific responsibilities of the role will include, but not limited to:
- Maintain a high standard of quality training delivery and assessment
- Ensure that all training covers the compliance standards at both State and Federal levels
- Ensure that all files and paperwork in 100% compliant
To be successful in this position you must have:
- A strong background in training and assessment
- Experience within the industry or related industries
- Excellent training and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and written skills
- Cert IV Workplace Training and Assessment
- The ability to travel as required
