Defence Housing Australia

Government and Education

Defence Housing Australia (DHA) was established in 1987 to provide housing for members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and their families. They are the ‘one stop’ shop in the total relocation process including arranging removal requirements, payment of entitlements, and allocation of homes. Their staff supports Defence members at 16 Housing Management Centres in major regional centres and another 13 outposts around Australia to help families move when the ADF member is posted to a new location.


DHA are currently piloting a Workstar eLearning platform with the intention to rollout courses to their 500 employees on a customised eLearning platform.

This will ensure DHA employees have the right skills and knowledge to maintain high quality housing and relocation services for their clients.
